Vicky (Wei-Chi) Lee provides legal services to growing technology companies, angel and venture investors. Ms. Lee’s expertise spans both patent and trademark matters, including drafting and reviewing Intellectual Property related agreements, conducting Patent and Trademark prosecution and foreign counterparts, evaluating inventions to determine patentability, building valuable patent portfolios for companies in the high-tech industry, and assists clients in defending patent/trademark/copyright infringement claims, etc.

        Ms. Lee received her LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, with a focus on technology and business law, and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Management Science, and her first law degree from National Chiao Tung University of Taiwan.

         While at Berkeley Law, she served as an associate editor at Berkeley Technology and Law Journal and was awarded with Law and Technology Certificate. Ms. Lee devotes time to pro bono matters, and was graduated with Public Interest and Pro Bono Graduation Honors.

         Before entering Berkeley, she co-authored several papers and books on patent valuation and litigation. Her knowledge and experience was further bolstered as a Judicial Law Clerk in Taiwan’s Intellectual Property and Commercial Court.

          Prior to Berkeley, she was a clinical researcher Duke University School of law, and has also participated in an exchange program at University of Turin, where she had a deeper exploration of the European legal system. Ms. Lee is a native speaker in Mandarin.

         Ms. Lee is licensed to practice law in California and New York. Ms. Lee has passed the Patent Bar Examination, and has obtained Information Privacy Professional/ United States (CIPP/US) certification.
